I have been researching topography and how scans are taken of parts of the earth. A lot of the footage I have found have given me a few ideas to incorporate colour in my animation as a literal example of topography. How the earth is moving and changing can be shown often with heat signatures with red obviously meaning hot and cold being blue or green. This methord also can be implemented to show the height of land from these scans, as the higher or lower the land gets correlates with the temperature.
